1.Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Submission Desk, including through the Claude connector or an API key. If you're unsure whether something is allowed, ask us at [legal@yourdomain.com].
2.Data you upload
Do not upload or process:
- data you don't have the authority, consent, or legal basis to use for marketing a submission;
- data obtained unlawfully, or in breach of a confidentiality obligation;
- sensitive identifiers that aren't needed for the submission (for example, full Social Security, driver's license, or bank account numbers, or health information), unless they are genuinely part of the package and you are permitted to share them;
- personal lines (for example, personal auto or homeowners) applications about individual consumers: the Service is built for commercial lines only;
- malware, or content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
3.Email and communications
- No spam, unsolicited bulk email, or purchased or scraped mailing lists. Use the Service to contact underwriters and markets you have a business relationship with or a legitimate reason to approach.
- Comply with anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM and CASL) and your email provider's rules.
- Don't impersonate anyone or send email from accounts you aren't authorized to use.
4.Honesty with underwriters and clients
- Don't use the Service to misrepresent, conceal, or omit material facts about a risk, including loss history, values, exposures, or prior declinations.
- Don't use AI output to mislead anyone, or present unverified AI output as verified fact.
- Don't use the Service to commit or facilitate insurance fraud or any other fraud.
- Don't use the Service for activity that requires a license you don't hold.
5.Security and integrity of the Service
- Don't access or attempt to access another customer's data or account, or probe, scan, or test the Service's vulnerabilities, except as permitted under our responsible disclosure guidelines.
- Don't bypass authentication, rate limits, usage limits, or other security or access controls.
- Don't interfere with or overload the Service, or introduce malicious code.
- Don't scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service by automated means, other than through features we provide (such as the Claude connector and data export).
- Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Service, except to the extent the law expressly permits despite this restriction.
- Don't use the Service to build a competing product, or resell or sublicense it without our permission.
6.Laws and sanctions
- Don't use the Service for anything unlawful, or to help anyone else break the law.
- Don't use the Service in violation of export control or sanctions laws, or on behalf of sanctioned persons or regions.
- Comply with the usage policies of the third-party services you connect, including Microsoft and Anthropic.
7.Enforcement and reporting
We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, suspend access, or terminate accounts, as described in the Terms. We may report unlawful activity to authorities. To report abuse, email [legal@yourdomain.com]; for security issues, email [security@yourdomain.com].
